Connectors create buttons on the agent dashboard that can be configured to send a client side HTTP GET or POST requests in the agents browser. These buttons are used when an agent needs to view & use a web page during or after a phone call.

How to configure connectors

Connectors can be configured within the Call Tools web interface under the “Integrations” nav link section under “Connectors”.

How do connectors trigger

Connectors are triggered when an agent clicks on the specific button on the agent dashboard while on a call or viewing a contact. Also connectors can be automatically triggered when a call starts or a call ends under the user settings form in Call Tools.

Connector assignments

You can control which agents can view specific connector buttons using connector assignments in Call Tools. This can be done by account wide default, team, campaign, queue, or user.
